Born and raised in Camden Elena Sirett (they/them) is an eclectic writer, performer and musician. They enjoy adapting ancient myths for our contemporary lives, yelling and screaming while playing acoustic guitar, revealing and conveying the queer, neurodivergent and mentally ill psyche through a combination of written and musical styles.

Elena studied English Literature at Newcastle University and completed a Masters degree in Critical Theory at Goldsmiths.

They are currently working on developing their one person show Maenad, along with a variety of other projects in the fields of fiction writing, zine making, storytelling and music. They are a review writer for Evulve Productions and an apprentice at A Space For Storytelling under the mentorship of Niall Moorjani. They have recently worked with Graeae Theatre company on the development of a new musical.
